Thermocouples

Thermocouples are calibrated on the basis of ITS-90 temperature fixed points in the range from the triple point of water to the freezing point of silver with an excellent uncertainty level. Alternatively, thermocouples can be calibrated in a temperature range of between 0 °C and 1200 °C on the basis of the comparison method using platinum/palladium thermocouples or gold/platinum thermocouples.

  • Gold/platinum thermocouples and platinum/palladium thermocouples as calibration standards
  • Use of the latest temperature fixed points up to the silver point (961.78 °C)
  • Triple points of water as thermocouple reference point
  • Customised calibration inserts manufactured in-house
  • Temperature sensors from a length of 300 mm can be calibrated
